Over the last 30 years I've worked on the Creative Agency side of the fence. After completing a Business degree I found myself working in an Event Production company doing Business Development. Back then, you did everything, find clients, get a brief, write the proposal, do the budget, win the pitch, find a team, deliver the project and then ask 'what's next'?
As a result, I've worked across most Agency roles from New Business Development, Client Service, Strategy, Creative Direction, Executive Production and Project Management across large-scale events, exhibitions, environments, brand activations, brand and communication campaigns, content production and digital interactive. Working with hundreds clients from all industries, both here and abroad.
I've been very fortunate to have led some world-class Creative Agencies, work with some amazingly talented people and delivered projects that will give me a warm glow of pride for the rest of my time. As a CEO or MD, I’ve reported directly to a Board, both private and ASX listed, so I’m well-seasoned in the art of presenting a compelling vision, whilst delivering on short term financial goals.
One things for sure....it hasn't been boring.
With change was the only constant, I've learned a lot along the way. I know how Agencies build a tribe, thrive and survive and it's an experienced skillset I'm keen to share. That’s why I set up Four Squared to allow me to operate at an Agency C-Level, focussing on business strategy, growth and profit improvement.
I live in Sydney with my wife and three adult (well almost...) kids, a very spoilt groodle and can often be seen hitting golf balls into heavy bush, sand traps and water.
